What Are the Best Bikes for Bad Roads?

Bad roads can really test your patience. I’ve once ridden on streets where there are lots of potholes. To be honest, mountain bikes handle that punishment way better than regular road bikes. Gravel bikes are also good if you want something lighter but still tough. Even fat tires can make a big difference too. As anyone else got a go-to setup for rough rides?
