Have you ever had your bike repainted or painted a different color than it was originally?

If so, is this something you did or had done professionally? How did it turn out?

I actually tried repainting my second bike one time but did a terrible job at it before I had to give it to professional in order to handle the job perfectly. It came out very well the way I expected.
