I've read where people actually think this.
Gravel bikes were made just to sell more bikes. They're not road bikes. They're not mountain bikes. You will likely encounter issues trying to ride gravel on a road bike and may even wreck. That mountain bike is too big and heavy to ride on the gravel roads.
