Have you ever done a century ride by road bike?
I'm talking 100 miles, not a metric century.
I've done two different century rides on my road bike. My first one was pretty easy, and it took me about 8 hours to complete even with an hour off the biker for rest and lunch.
The second one took me around 10 hours to complete because there were a lot of hills. I did 101 miles on that one to make it my longest ride. That ride was actually 135 miles, but I couldn't go past 101 because I was so worn out and running on 2 hours of sleep.
I'd like to do another 100, maybe even a couple of them a year.
How about you all?
