I've been dealing with a pretty gnarly sinus infection. Smoke from Canadian wildfires is reaching us as well and that's making it worse. No biking for me.
Many women do it because they feel like it's their right to do it.
I think it should be up to them but I know that different cultures might not agree.
When I watch videos of solo female bike travelers enter the Middle East or African nations, they usually have a hard time getting through it...
For touring or bikepacking, I don't want to do it alone. Safety, company, and boring moments would be deprived if I was alone.
For general riding though, I often like to ride alone.
My daughter's boyfriend broke his phone and would carry around his laptop for a few weeks. We made fun of him so bad for it. LOL I've never really seen anyone do that before.
Do any of you carry additional specialized insurance in relation to being a cyclist?
This could be something like bike insurance to cover bikes and even kits in the event of a wreck.
It could even be something like accident insurance or helicopter insurance in the event you get hurt while riding.
