What kind of cyclist are you when it comes to choosing the type of bike to buy? Road bikes are best for speedy sessions and for someone with a racing mindset while gravel bike is best for someone who's adventurous.

Which one is your favourite between a road and gravel bike or do you buy both of them?

I own both.

I have a road bike which I use for smooth roads and mainly for organized rides and group rides.

I also have a gravel bike which I love taking on rail trails and gravel backroads for adventures.

I have a mountain bike as well and I select that for real single mountain bike trails that are too rugged for a gravel bike.

That's very cool. I have both road and gravel bike except for a mountain bike. I haven't got much need for it yet which is why I haven't gotten it but never say never.

Which one do you ride more often amongst your bikes?

Here lately it has been my road bike. I rode it after not riding for a year and missed it. So, I've been riding it once a week on a group ride I go to.

Once it starts cooling down a bit, I'll start riding the gravel bike and the mountain bike a bit more. I don't like road biking when it's cold because you're exposed to more wind on the road.

Also, when the wind is strong, it's far more dangerous. As much as I enjoy riding when it's cold, I don't risk it with strong wind especially crosswinds as it interfere with your control.

I'm ready for my gravel bike to be my most-used bike again. The hot weather needs to cool down, LOL.
