If you go on a group ride with your bike club and everyone has a club jersey, should you make an effort to wear yours every time?

Or is it fine to wear whatever jersey or kit you want to wear?

What about when you're racing on behalf of the club where the kit isn't really a sanctioned requirement?

Well, if it's a group ride with everyone of the group, I personally think that it's going to make more sense to wear the club jersey. If not worn on such occasion, I wonder when would be the appropriate time to wear it?

If I'm racing on behalf of my dear club, I'll definitely represent my club fully so that everyone knows which club I'm doing it for.

I always try to wear my club kit when I ride with my club, which isn't very often.

It makes all the sense in the world to do it that way because it will bring more glory and recognition to your club.

Yep. And if you race, in most cases, it's required.

Exactly! There was a reason why they were made to start with. If it's just a casual kit to wear whenever you feel like, it wouldn't be designated branded club kit.
